Two-pack Vivo and Viano remote for LCD LED combo TVs with DVD
One remote design that covers both Vivo and Viano combos
Vivo and Viano televisions share more than a passing resemblance: the two brands are made by the same company and their remotes use the same frequency, so a single handset design drives both. This two-pack suits most Vivo TVs and most Viano LCD and LED combo sets with built-in DVD players, replicating all the major buttons of the original including DVD transport controls. The exceptions worth noting are the 32-inch and 37-inch Viano LCD models, the 13-inch and 15-inch Vivo LCD models, and any 3D sets, which take a different remote. Both brands sold strongly through Australian discount retailers, so plenty of these combo sets are still working away in caravans, garages and holiday units years later.
Plug-and-play control of TV and DVD in one handset
There is no setup procedure to follow. Drop batteries into either handset and you immediately have power, volume, channel, menu navigation and the DVD functions of your combo unit back under control. For TV-and-DVD combos this matters more than for ordinary televisions, because disc playback usually cannot be driven from the buttons on the cabinet. Having two identical remotes in the box means the caravan, the spare room or the kids' lounge can each have one, or the second can wait in reserve for the day the first disappears. That self-contained nature is also why combo televisions remain popular in off-grid and mobile setups, where one appliance and one handset keep things simple.
Options when your model is one of the exceptions
If you own a standalone Viano panel rather than a combo, the Viano remote for LTV32HD LTV47FHD LEDTV42FHD targets those screens directly. A single-unit version of this combo remote is also available as the Vivo Viano LCD LED combo TV remote for anyone who only needs one. Households juggling several brands under one roof might prefer the universal RM-L1130+8 remote for Sony Samsung LG Soniq as a catch-all spare. As ever with replacement remotes, a one-minute check of your model against the exceptions list is the difference between a perfect fit and a return.

Frequently asked questions
Will this remote work on both my Vivo TV and Viano TV?
Yes. Viano and Vivo remotes are interchangeable because both brands come from the same manufacturer and transmit on the same frequency. This handset suits most Vivo TVs and most Viano LCD or LED combo televisions with DVD, covering power, volume, channel, menu and disc playback controls, so one design happily serves televisions of either badge in the same house.
Which Vivo and Viano models are not compatible with this remote?
The listed exceptions are the 32-inch and 37-inch Viano LCD televisions, the 13-inch and 15-inch Vivo LCD televisions, and 3D models from either brand. Those sets use a different remote design. For everything else in the Vivo and Viano LCD or LED combo-with-DVD range, this replacement reproduces the original's major buttons and functions.
Does it control the built-in DVD player as well as the TV?
It does. The handset replicates the original combo remote, so alongside television controls you get the DVD functions needed to play, navigate and manage discs on compatible Vivo and Viano combo units. That is important because combo TVs generally offer little or no disc control from the cabinet buttons, making a working remote essential for the DVD side.
Is any programming needed before using these remotes?
None at all. Both handsets in the pack are ready to use the moment batteries are inserted, with no code entry or syncing. The design is plug and play, so either remote will operate a compatible Vivo or Viano set straight out of the packaging, and the second unit can simply be stored until it is needed.
