Viano TV remote for LTV32HD, LTV47FHD and LEDTV42FHD models
Viano and Vivo sets this infrared remote suits
Compatibility here centres on three listed Viano models: the LTV32HD, LTV47FHD and LEDTV42FHD, with support extending to further Viano and Vivo sets as well. The guideline given for those extra models is appearance: if your old remote looks the same as this one, the replacement will support your TV. Viano and Vivo televisions were sold widely through Australian retailers, and remotes for discontinued house brands can be genuinely hard to source elsewhere. For Viano or Vivo combo units with a built-in DVD player, the Vivo Viano TV Remote Control LCD LED Combo is the more specific match for that variant of the handset.
An infrared remote with nothing to program
The connection type is infrared, the same line-of-sight technology the original used, which means no app, hub or Bluetooth pairing is involved. No programming is needed at all: insert a brand new battery and the remote works straight away. IR remotes also fail in predictable ways, so if a replacement ever seems unresponsive, fresh batteries and a clear path to the TV's sensor resolve most issues. Each order includes one remote control for Viano or Vivo TVs, making this a simple like-for-like swap rather than a universal unit that needs configuring with brand codes. That simplicity is the main appeal of a model-matched unit over phone apps and other workarounds.
When a universal remote is the better call
A model-matched replacement is the cleanest fix for a single Viano set, but mixed-brand households sometimes want one controller for everything. The Universal TV Remote Control RM-L1130+8 Sony Samsung LG covers Sony, Samsung, LG and Soniq LCD and LED sets from one handset, which suits a spare room where several hand-me-down TVs rotate through. Owners of other Australian-market brands are catered for too, such as the Blaupunkt TV Remote Control BLFRMC0008 LCD LED for Blaupunkt LCD, LED, 3D and 4K televisions. Weigh up whether you want an exact copy of the Viano original or a general-purpose unit, because each approach has its place.

Frequently asked questions
Which Viano TV models does this remote work with?
It is listed for the Viano LTV32HD, LTV47FHD and LEDTV42FHD, and it also supports additional Viano and Vivo models where the old remote looks the same as this replacement. Comparing your existing handset to the product photo is the quickest compatibility check. If your set is a Viano or Vivo combo with a built-in DVD player, look at the dedicated combo remote instead.
Do I need to program this remote to my Viano TV?
No programming is needed. This is an infrared remote, so there are no codes to enter and no pairing process; fit a brand new battery and it will operate the TV immediately. Infrared needs line of sight, so point the remote at the sensor on the front of the television and keep that path unobstructed for reliable response.
Will this remote also control my Vivo TV?
Yes, in the right circumstances. Viano and Vivo remotes of this style are interchangeable, and this unit can replace an old Viano or Vivo remote of the same model. The test given in the listing is visual: if your existing Vivo remote looks the same as the one pictured, this replacement will support your television.
What is the delivery timeframe for this remote?
All items are dispatched within 24 hours of purchase. Standard delivery typically takes 1–5 working days within Australia and 2–8 working days to New Zealand. Should the remote not suit your set, The Remote Factory offers a 30-day return policy, and you can reach the support team at contact@theremotefactory.com.au for help with returns or model questions.
