Vivo and Viano TV remote for LCD and LED combo televisions with DVD
One remote for two badge names
Viano and Vivo televisions came from the same manufacturer and their remotes share the same frequency, which is why this single handset is listed for both brands. It suits most Viano LCD and LED combo televisions with built-in DVD players as well as Vivo TVs, with a few stated exceptions: the 32-inch and 37-inch Viano LCD models, the 13-inch and 15-inch Vivo LCDs, and 3D TVs are not covered. These budget sets were sold widely through Australian retailers, and surviving units often outlast their original remotes by years. Because both badges share one remote platform, you do not need to work out which of the two names is printed on your bezel before ordering; the same handset serves either.
DVD combo controls on the one handset
Combo televisions are awkward to run without the correct remote because the DVD transport controls rarely appear as physical buttons on the TV cabinet. This replacement restores access to both halves of the set, covering television functions and disc playback from the single layout. Power comes from two 1.5V AAA batteries, which are not included in the package, and the box contains one TV remote control. There are no codes to enter; it is matched to the Viano and Vivo platform out of the box.
Alternatives if your set falls outside the list
If your television is one of the excluded sizes, a different Viano family handset such as the Viano TV Remote for LTV32HD LTV47FHD LEDTV42FHD may be the right match instead. Owners of other budget brands can find equivalents like the Blaupunkt TV Remote BLFRMC0008 for LCD LED TVs, and a multi-brand fallback such as the Universal TV Remote RM-L1130+8 for Sony Samsung LG Soniq covers mixed households with several screens. Whichever path fits, replacing the handset is the difference between a combo TV that earns its spot in a caravan, granny flat or spare room and one that gets carted off to the kerb, so it is worth checking the exact model before giving up on the set.

Frequently asked questions
Will this remote work on both Vivo and Viano TVs?
Yes. The Viano remote is exactly the same as the Vivo remote; both brands were made by the same company and operate on the same frequency. This handset suits most Viano LCD and LED combo TVs with DVD and most Vivo TVs. The exceptions are 32-inch and 37-inch Viano LCD models, 13-inch and 15-inch Vivo LCDs, and 3D sets.
Does it control the built-in DVD player too?
It does. The layout includes the disc playback controls that combo televisions depend on, which is the main reason owners replace this particular remote rather than switching to a generic one. Television functions such as volume, source and channel are covered alongside DVD transport, so the whole combo unit is usable again from a single handset.
What batteries does the Vivo Viano remote need?
It runs on two 1.5V AAA batteries, which are not included in the package, so add a pair to your shopping before the remote arrives. Battery installation is the only setup involved; no code entry or programming is needed because the handset is pre-matched to the Vivo and Viano television platform.
What if my Viano TV is one of the excluded models?
The 32-inch and 37-inch Viano LCD sets use different remote hardware, as do 13-inch and 15-inch Vivo LCDs and the 3D models. For those, check the other Viano listings in the store, such as the handset for LTV32HD, LTV47FHD and LEDTV42FHD models, or email contact@theremotefactory.com.au with your model number and the team will point you to the right unit.
