Two-pack GCBLTV02ADBBT remote for CHiQ and Changhong TVs
Streaming shortcuts front and centre
The stand-out of the GCBLTV02ADBBT layout is its dedicated shortcut row: one-press buttons for Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and Google Play drop you into your streaming apps without a trip through the TV's home menu. Designed for selected CHiQ TV models including the L40K5 from Changhong, this two-pack replaces a lost or broken original with the same familiar control scheme. One limitation to know upfront: the remote does not support voice commands or Google Assistant functionality, so it suits viewers who navigate by button rather than by speaking. Shortcut keys get heavy use in streaming-first households, so having them physically on the replacement genuinely changes day-to-day viewing.
Straight out of the box operation
There is no programming or pairing step at all. Each remote needs two AAA batteries — not included — and begins controlling the TV the moment they are inserted. Menu navigation uses clearly labelled directional keys, and the lightweight ergonomic shape holds comfortably through a long evening of viewing. Having two identical units in the pack means one lives in the lounge while the twin waits in a drawer, or each TV in a two-CHiQ household gets its own — either way you are insured against the next couch-cushion disappearance, which on past form is only ever a few months away. AAA cells are cheap and sold at every supermarket checkout, which keeps the ongoing running cost of both units close to negligible.
Sorting the rest of the household's remotes
Mixed-brand households can consolidate replacements in a single order. Kogan screens are served by the Kogan KALED55XXXZD TV remote control, Samsung's popular older sets by the Samsung AA59-00602A remote for LA32E420, and recorder setups by the Topfield TRF-7160 PVR remote control covering TRF7170, TRF-7260PLUS and TPR5000 units. Since every one of these works without setup codes, replacing a houseful of remotes is a batteries-in, done job rather than an afternoon of code tables. Listing each TV's brand and model before you shop turns the whole exercise into a ten-minute task.
Why The Remote Factory is the sensible source
The Remote Factory stocks this CHiQ-compatible two-pack in Australia, consistent with its specialty in replacement remotes and key fobs for local households. Dispatch occurs within 24 hours of ordering, and standard delivery lands in 1–5 working days across Australia or 2–8 working days in New Zealand. Orders can be paid using Visa, Mastercard and American Express, plus PayPal, Shop Pay and Apple Pay. If a remote proves unsuitable for your CHiQ model, the 30-day return policy applies — though a quick email to contact@theremotefactory.com.au with your TV model beforehand usually settles compatibility in one reply.
Frequently asked questions
Which TVs does the GCBLTV02ADBBT remote control?
It is designed for selected CHiQ TV models, with the Changhong L40K5 specifically named in the listing. CHiQ is Changhong's consumer brand, so the remote serves that family of sets. If your model number differs from L40K5, compare your original remote with the product images or email the store with your TV model to confirm suitability before ordering the two-pack.
Do these remotes support voice control or Google Assistant?
No. The listing states clearly that this remote does not support voice commands or Google Assistant functionality. Navigation happens through the physical buttons, including directional keys and the menu controls, plus dedicated shortcut buttons for Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and Google Play. For most everyday viewing that button-based layout covers everything the TV needs.
Is any pairing or programming required?
None at all. These are ready-to-use replacements: insert two AAA batteries into each remote — batteries are not included — and they control the TV instantly. There are no codes to enter and no pairing sequence to follow, which makes swapping over painless even for the least technical member of the household. Both remotes in the pack work identically.
What does the two-pack include and how fast is shipping?
The pack contains two identical replacement remotes for compatible CHiQ televisions, giving you a working unit and a spare, or coverage for two TVs. The Remote Factory dispatches orders within 24 hours, with standard delivery of 1 to 5 working days in Australia and 2 to 8 working days to New Zealand, and a 30-day return policy stands behind the purchase.
