Kids smart watch with camera, flashlight and tough dual-colour design
What this watch does – and importantly, what it does not
Setting expectations first: this watch does not support phone calls, SMS or GPS tracking via a SIM card. It is a standalone device, which many parents actually prefer for younger kids – all the fun of a camera, games-style features and alarms without a phone plan or the privacy questions a connected tracker raises. What it does offer is a front-facing camera with remote photo capture, a built-in LED flashlight, a 1.44-inch capacitive touch screen and a durable red-and-blue ABS body built for playground treatment. For many families, that makes it a gentle first step into wearable tech before a child is ready for a connected device.
Features kids use every day
The camera is the headline for most kids, letting them snap photos straight from the wrist, while the flashlight becomes the bedtime-torch feature parents did not know they were buying. An alarm clock, love rewards, Do Not Disturb mode and remote shutdown give parents practical controls, and electronic fence and safe-zone alert functions are included in the feature set. The watch supports up to ten languages including English, and the 3.8V 400mAh battery charges magnetically – no fiddly ports for small fingers to damage. A water-resistant rating handles splashes and rain. Before handing the watch over, it is worth spending a few minutes setting the language, alarm and Do Not Disturb times together, so your child knows how each feature works. Kids often enjoy taking photos of pets, friends and school projects, and the flashlight gets plenty of use on camping trips and in dark cupboards.
Options if you need calling or more tracking
Families wanting communication features should compare the kids tracker smart watch phone GSM SIM, which adds SIM-based calling and SOS functions. Older kids and teens might suit the smart watch with camera Bluetooth pedometer NFC, and adults shopping for themselves can look at the Tavice STURDY smart watch with fitness tracking. Comparing feature lists side by side avoids buying capability a child will not use – or missing one they will. Checking whether your child's school allows smart watches in class is also sensible before buying any model. The built-in Do Not Disturb mode on this one helps keep it from becoming a distraction.

Frequently asked questions
Can my child make phone calls or be tracked with this watch?
No. This model deliberately does not support making or receiving phone calls, SMS or GPS tracking via a SIM card. It is a standalone kids watch focused on the camera, flashlight, alarms and parental controls like Do Not Disturb and remote shutdown. If calling or SOS features matter, a SIM-based kids tracker watch is the product to compare instead.
Is the watch waterproof enough for everyday kid use?
The watch carries a water-resistant rating that handles splashes and rain, so hand washing, puddle weather and general mess are fine. It is not positioned as a swimming watch, so it is sensible to take it off for the pool or bath. The ABS body in dual red and blue colouring is designed to be sturdy against the knocks of daily play.
How does the watch charge, and how is the battery?
It uses magnetic charging, which snaps into place without a port for small fingers to bend or clog – a practical design for children. The built-in 3.8V 400mAh battery is described as long-lasting for a device of this size. Charging between uses is as simple as sitting the watch on its magnetic connector overnight or while the child is at school.
What languages and parental features does it include?
The watch supports up to ten languages, including English and Chinese. For parents, it offers Do Not Disturb mode for school hours, remote shutdown, and electronic fence with safe-zone alert functions, plus everyday tools like the alarm clock and love rewards. The front-facing camera supports remote photo capture, and the 1.44-inch capacitive touch screen keeps navigation simple for young users.
